The building has a very simple appearance and a papal insignia dated 1664, and is divided into two storeys. The lower storey hosts the church (not open to visitors), which is still served by the brotherhood. Its present appearence dates from 1845, when it was remodeled by Angelo Brizi.
On the walls are several paintings and a processional banner with the Martyrdom of St. Stephen.
